Troy Hayner F.A.V.E. ExhibitThis past weekend was pretty busy for us. Actually, the week leading up to it was cray cray to say the least.

I am a procrastinator to the fullest. Several months ago my good friend Jenna told me about this event she thought I might like to take part in. I shrugged it off, thinking “there is absolutely, positively, no way we would EVER be ready.” We actually got a good giggle about even entertaining the idea of doing it.

Three weeks before the event I saw there was an opening for a vendor. I signed us up! Talk about cray cray… I fully lost my mind at that point. There was no turning back.

Fast forward two weeks, I still had nothing ready. You heard right, NOTHING. And to make matters worse, I got sick. Friday came, I went to the doctors and got a nice shot of something that not only helped me start to feel better but gave me that extra pinch in the bum to give me just what I needed to get working in high gear.

Hayner F.A.V.E. Event with Amy and JennaSaturday came and we set up for F.A.V.E. And, it turned out lovely.

Jenna and I shared a space. A Glimpse of You Photography on one side, Little Birdies Blue debuting on the other. Brent not only used his muscle power and creative thinking to help set up the space, he was a doll and manned the fort so I could stroll around and shop. He’s fly like that. He even made some sells… if you want my opinion, I think that manly beard sealed the deal.

We had so much fun meeting new friends and seeing some old ones that we have secured a spot at the Holiday Shopping Fair, at Riverside on December 4 from 5:30-8:30 pm. Some proceeds from this event will help benefit the Special Olympics. We hope you will come out, say hello and support some local vendor as well as this amazing program.
